A battle belt carries the weight your body armor shouldn’t — magazines, medical, a holster, a dump pouch — on a rigid platform that stays where you put it. Every setup on this page uses the same two-part system: a stiffened outer belt with MOLLE webbing, worn over an inner belt that grips your trousers and stops the whole rig from rotating or sagging.

The 1.75″ Battle Belt Lite and the 1.75″ MOLLE Battle Belt carry the same gear — the difference is how the MOLLE is built. The Lite uses laser-cut MOLLE over a rigid Curv core, which makes it lighter and slimmer. The MOLLE Battle Belt uses traditional sewn nylon webbing rows, which is what a lot of people prefer if it’s what they’ve always run.

Both are 1.75″ — the width SWAT teams and military units run.

War belt or battle belt?

The two terms describe the same piece of kit and are used interchangeably. “War belt” tends to come up around military and heavier setups; “battle belt” is the more common term for range, competition and duty-adjacent use. If you’re shopping for either, this is the page.
