The radio pouch mounts and holds the radio very secure. The stitch and nylon is quality. My only gripe is, I wish the cord would have been sewn in the retention loop. You adjust based on your radio and when you tie it off it leaves a knot that slides around. Looks kinda sloppy.

I ordered the XL radio pouch for my Kenwood VP6000 series and reached out beforehand with sizing questions. Blue Alpha Belts was quick to respond and recommended the XL based on my radio measurements, along with adding the button snap closure.
I’ve worn this pouch on patrol for several weeks now and have zero complaints. The bungee with button snap secures the radio extremely well, even during extended shifts and movement. Fit, retention, and overall quality are exactly what you’d expect.
