The Blue Alpha Radio Pouch holds your radio on MOLLE or a belt with a structured, easy re-index. A laminate Cordura® body and internal CURV® frame keep the pouch open, so stowing your radio is faster and smoother than with a soft, collapsed pocket.

All you need to do is provide us with your name (or name used to make the purchase) and details of the issue (photos/videos are very helpful). Once we receive your original item, we will either send you a replacement or repair the item covered under warranty.
What is the Blue Alpha Radio Pouch made of?

What’s the difference between the APX and XL sizes?
They’re two pouch sizes for different radio bodies. The sizing notes on this page list radios we’ve tested (not an exhaustive list). APX examples include APX 4000 (no clip), 6000, 8000, and NEXT; Motorola XTS-2500 (no clip); Motorola RDU4160D; Baofeng UV-5R (extended battery only); Radio Oddity GEM-30 Plus; Kenwood NX-5300 (no clip); APX N70; and Motorola XPR7550 / XPR7550e (no clip). XL examples include the L3 XL series, Baofeng UV-25, Harris XG75, and Harris XL200. If your radio isn’t listed, compare its body size to those examples or email Info@BlueAlpha.us.
Do I need MOLLE straps?
For the MOLLE mount, we highly recommend them because of radio weight. You can add Two MOLLE Straps or Two MOLLE Straps and Wing Adapter at checkout, or use our MOLLE Attachment Strap.
What is the Wing Adapter add-on for?
Checkout offers two MOLLE straps alone, or two MOLLE straps plus a Wing Adapter, if you want that mounting setup with the pouch.
What colors are available?
Black and Ranger Green. Custom colors are available with a 10-unit minimum. Email Info@BlueAlpha.us with details.
Will it work on a duty belt or battle belt?
Yes. Use the Belt Pass-through mount on a duty or battle belt, or the MOLLE mount on MOLLE-compatible belts and carriers. The Battle Belt Lite and 2″ MOLLE Duty Belt Lite are common pairings.
Is a radio included?
No. This is the pouch only, plus any mount, closure, or strap options you select.

The radio pouch mounts and holds the radio very secure. The stitch and nylon is quality. My only gripe is, I wish the cord would have been sewn in the retention loop. You adjust based on your radio and when you tie it off it leaves a knot that slides around. Looks kinda sloppy.

I ordered the XL radio pouch for my Kenwood VP6000 series and reached out beforehand with sizing questions. Blue Alpha Belts was quick to respond and recommended the XL based on my radio measurements, along with adding the button snap closure.
