Tourniquets are an essential piece of lifesaving equipment and a worthy addition to your kit. The Blue Alpha Tourniquet Holder is a versatile solution for mounting a TQ to your gear. The TQ is held in by elastic for easy removal in an emergency. The holder includes a slot to hold a Sharpie for noting the time of use on the TQ . The TQ holder is MOLLE compatible and can be belt mounted vertically or horizontally, or by using the Dangler panel, you can mount it from the front of a plate carrier or chest rig. Our goal with the Blue Alpha Tourniquet Holder is to give the user as many mounting and attachment options as possible, including to a car roof and other fabric-covered surfaces.

TLDR: Bleeding out bad. TQ holder good.
While I’m not a huge fan of storing/carrying your TQ so that it is exposed to the elements while on my battle rigs; this holder certainly is a solid piece of gear that fills a couple important niches. Rocking this holder for my secondary TQ (SOFT) on my PC via the dangle method. I can access my TQ with either hand, one-handed. Having it center, midline also allows my teammates to quickly locate my TQ, deploy it, and apply it. On my chest rig it is vertical MOLLE, and sucks up next my IFAK pouch and stays put until needed. I don’t keep a marker in the marker slot; but I happen to know firsthand you can fit a SlimJim in there. I’ve ran my students through some TQ drills with this tourniquet holder using both a CAT and SOFT; and haven’t seen any problems yet.

Very well made, simple and versatile piece of gear. I use it on duty and as an EDC. The ability to molle on, strap to or use as a dangler makes it an asset when in plain clothes or full kit. Highly recommended to everyone!

I love this holder. It has worked great on the range while working on self aid drills. Great product from a great company. I highly recommend their shirts as well. I’m a bigger guy with wide shoulders, the shirt I ordered fits me great.

It holds the tourniquet well but the Sharpie holder is much too small on mine. I was able to just barely force a Sharpie in but the elastic material is way too tight to be able to remove the marker without a struggle. Getting the marker out requires pulling with one hand and squeezing the elastic with the other hand as the marker moves. Even then it’s tough and takes a while. The elastic loop on mine seems more sized for a mechanical pencil. The holder does do it’s job well with the tourniquet so I’m satisfied.
