COBRA® and AUSTRIALPIN® are registered trademarks of AUSTRIALPIN GmbH.

Order your belt based on the pants size you wear. There is no need to order a larger size for an outer belt; it has been calculated in. Our belts are designed to work +/- one size. For example, a 34 belt will also fit 32 and 36. If you feel like you are in between two sizes or can’t decide which of two sizes to choose, we recommend the larger size. There is a size chart in the photos.

Due to manufacturing restraints we are unable to offer sizes outside the range of 28-48.

Battle and Duty Belt systems, including both inner and outer belts, have a one-year warranty that covers craftsmanship and defects.

Warranty requests can be sent to Info@BlueAlpha.us or you can call us at (678) 961-3304. All you need to do is provide us with your name (or name used to make the purchase) and details of the issue (photos/videos are very helpful). Once we receive your original belt, we will either send you a replacement or repair the item covered under warranty.

Battle Belt Lite Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a different color for my inner and outer belt?

Yes. Just add your preferred inner belt color to your order notes when you check out, and we’ll build it that way.

How long does it take to receive my belt?

Your Battle Belt Lite is made to order and typically ships in 2–5 business days.

What’s the weight difference between the Battle Belt Lite and the original Battle Belt?

The outer belt is 40% lighter than the original Battle Belt while keeping the same rigid CURV® core support.

Is the Battle Belt Lite suitable for duty use, or just competition?

Both. Owners run this belt in USPSA, IDPA, and PCSL competition, as a duty belt, on SWAT and tactical teams, and as daily EDC. The rigid CURV® core holds duty gear securely while staying 40% lighter than a traditional battle belt.

Polymer or aluminum Cobra buckle — which should I get?

The Battle Belt Lite is offered with either a polymer Cobra buckle or an aluminum Cobra buckle. The polymer buckle (sometimes called the plastic buckle) is the lighter option and is rated for 500 pounds-force. The aluminum buckle is heavier but more rigid and more scratch-resistant. The 1.75″ polymer buckle weighs 1.36 oz (38.55 g), and the 1.75″ aluminum buckle weighs 2.24 oz (63.50 g).

Why does the MOLLE look uneven near the buckle?

The rigid CURV® core ends before the MOLLE does on purpose. We extended the MOLLE past the core so it stays flexible — that lets it pass through the buckle for size adjustment, and if your size doesn’t need the extra length, you can tuck it in or mount gear right beside the buckle.

Absolutely love this belt with how light it is and yet it carries a bunch of gear comfortably and is still sturdy

    • Blue Alpha Team –

      Great to hear! Thanks Cameron!

  2. Luke (verified owner) –

I bought this after I started doing competition shooting and this belt is excellent. Not too heavy and can hold all my junk what’s not to love. I was introduced to this company from watching Hop and Brass Facts and this was the right choice. Great gear, and if I need more I know where to look.

    • Blue Alpha Team –

      Great to hear! Thank you!

  3. Brian (verified owner) –

After reviewing many of the popular belts on the market I chose the BA Battle Belt Lite for my first belt of this sort within my budget. So far I am enjoying it for the stiffness and flexibility, modularity for accommodating attachments, and availability for accepting the BA belt pads when I want to wear the belt without the inner belt. Highly recommend!

    • Blue Alpha Team –

Thanks Brian! Glad you like it!

  4. John Stewart (verified owner) –

Holds up wonderfully. It’s light weight yet durable. I actually do not use mine with the inner belt. I use a rubber non slip pad. The inner belt is a great edc belt. I personally think it’s better than the low pro edc belt since it has a longer section of hook velcro which makes a batter connection. The only thing I would change about it is find a way to make the inner/ edc belt flex and I think this would be an absolute home run. But that’s just be being knit picky. If flex is something you don’t care about then you’ll love this belt. I recommend it to anyone who asks

    • Blue Alpha Team –

Glad you like your belts and thanks for the feedback!

  5. Trevor R. (verified owner) –

I’ve been using this belt for hunting and shooting and it is a vital tool for staying comfortable and keeping much of your gear at your hips instead of on your back.
The molle system works well will the majority of accessories you’ll put on it.

    • Blue Alpha Team –

      Thank you Trevor!
